CB-ELAN product introduction at BMAA 2010

Leading technology motors

Elegine is launching into the Australian market with a technology leading range of network curtain and blind motors. For the last few years the company has focused on its O.E.M. business and supplying the high growth markets in the Middle East and North America. With partners and experience in the technology space the new range of intelligent motors reduces installation and integration costs and is set to make a big impact in the Australian industry.

Significant costs savings can be achieved in projects using the ELAN enabled motors which are designed to replace building or home automation controlled relays. Where historically a pair of relays was required to control each and every motor a single ELAN interface can control multiple motors in a building. The ELAN provides command control and motor position status information for improved functional features in an automation system.

Developed in Australia and working closely with the Clipsal Embedded team in Adelaide, the CB-ELAN Interface has a native C-Bus connection, a USB port for network configuration, and a serial port for connecting to third party systems such as CRESTRON, AMX, and LonWorks. These flexible connection options make for a cost effective and time efficient integration solution to building control infrastructure.

The expanded Elegine technical support team in the Melbourne office have been working with a number of experienced automation integrators including the C-Bus PointOne integrators to ensure efficient integration of window covering motorization so end customers get the most from their motorized system.
