Elegine will include the 18th R+T Industrial Trade Fair in its 2009 calendar of trade shows. Held every three years, the Stuttgart-based fair is the largest gathering in the world of manufacturers, vendors, and designers for climate protection systems, from awnings, to doors, windows, and gates.
At the New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre, Elegine will be launching a range of new networked motors providing integration simplicity and greater functionality for motor control. Our goal is to provide automated sun protection to increase building efficiency and comfort while lowering energy consumption.
We look forward to introducing the latest in high-tech window covering automation at R+T from February 10th to 14th, 2009.
Points of interest regarding the Elegine network motor:
- Network controls for both the Curtain and Blind motor range.
- The ELAN enabled motor is designed to replace BAS/HAS controlled Shutter Relays providing significant cost savings on control hardware.
- The ELAN network allows up to 255 ELAN enabled units within a 2000m network length.
- ELAN cabling topology can be ‘star’(originating from a single point) or ‘daisy chain’ (wired motor to motor).
- Simplified third party control of motors is via the ELAN interface.
- The ELAN provided command control and real time motor status information.
